  Army's Top 10 Inventions Award
SRC's CREW Duke V3, a counter improvised explosive device system, was recognized as a 2009 Top 10 Army Greatest Invention. Its predecessor, SRC's Countermeasure Protection System, received the same award in 2005, and the company's Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar, which was co-developed with the U.S. Army and is manufactured at SRCTec, received the award in 2004. The award distinguishes best technological solutions for soldiers, and how these new technologies increase competence for the U.S. Army.
   

  Best Companies New York 
SRC was ranked the fourteeth Best Company to Work for in New York 2012 in the large company category by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management State Council, in conjunction with Best Companies Group and the Business Council of New York. This award identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in New York, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. We also received this recognition as a top 10 company in 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008.
     

  Best Employers in Ohio  
SRC was named the third Best Employer in Ohio list in 2011 and 2010 by the Ohio Society of Human Resource Management State Council. This award identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.
     
  Best Companies to Work for in Texas  
SRC was named the third Best Companies to Work for in Texas list in 2013 by the Texas Association of Business, "Texas Monthly" magazine and the Society for Human Resource Management – Texas State Council. This award identifies and recognizes Texas' best employers. In 2009, SRC was also named to the San Antonio Express-News Top Workplaces Program, recognizing leading companies in the San Antonio metro area. Of more than 100 companies considered, the company was ranked the 10th Top Workplace in the city. We also received this recognition as the ninth Best Company in 2012 and the fourth Best Company in 2011.
     
VA Best Place to Work   Best Place to Work for in Virgina
SRC was ranked the fourteenth Best Place to Work in Virginia in 2013, in the large employer category. This award, sponsored by Virginia Business, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Virginia SHRM State Council, identifies and recognizes the best employers in Virginia. We also received this recognition as the fourteenth Best Place to Work in Virginia in 2012.

Mohawk Valley Engineers Executive Council ranked SRC as the “Engineering Company of the Year" in 2012.

     
Communitas   Communitas Leadership Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
SRC was named one of the recipients of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals' 2010 Communitas Leadership Award in the category of Leadership in Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Communitas Awards is an international effort to recognize exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals that are unselfishly giving of themselves and their resources, and those that are changing how they do business to benefit their communities.

Best Places to Work for Recent Grads 
SRC has been named to the list of the 2011 Best Places to Work for Recent Grads by Experience, Inc. The list recognizes 20 top organizations from a wide range of industries across the country for excellence in recruiting, hiring, training and retaining young professionals. The Best Places to Work for Recent Grads list recognizes organizations who are currently recruiting from top universities nationwide and are hiring candidates set to graduate in 2011. Technology Company of the Year
In 2009, SRC was recognized as the Technology Company of the Year by the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (Annapolis, Md.). The Tech Company of the Year Award is given to a company that has achieved significant milestones in the past year and demonstrates itself as a recognized force in the local technology community.
 
Business of the Year
SRCTec received the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year Award in 2009. Additionally, SRC and SRCTec together were recognized with the Community Involvement Achievement Award for their efforts throughout Central New York and beyond. The Award is given to companies that excel in growth, staying power, workplace innovation and commitment to the community.
 
Cogswell Security Achievement Award
SRC has been awarded the James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award by the Department of Defense, eight times. This award is presented annually to less than 1 percent of nearly 12,000 cleared government contractors in the United States for extraordinary performance in the National Industrial Security Program.
 
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification
SRC's environmentally-friendly practices set the bar high for other companies. Its Syracuse headquarters achieved a LEED® Certified rating by the U.S. Green Building Council and Green Building Certification Institute, and also qualifies for energy conservation credits from New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. SRC's employee-led Environmental Committee educates people of ongoing improvements to be environmentally friendly. In 2009, SRCTec was named a Central New York Top 10 Recycler and, in 2010, SRC and SRCTec were named an Onondaga Country Resource Recovery Agency Blue Ribbon Recyclers, which recognizes great business recycling and waste reduction practices in our community. SRCTec's Environmental Management System also recently achieved ISO 14001 registration, which aims to identify and limit the environmental impact of the company's operations. The company's environmental practices are supported at all levels of the organization and ultimately enhance customer trust and increase employee morale through involvement in waste reduction and pollution prevention.
