Our Not-For-Profit Advantage

SRC has enjoyed impressive financial growth over the past five years. That, combined with our status as a 501(c) not-for-profit organization, has enabled us to invest heavily in new facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, internal research and development projects, business-diversification initiatives, and professional development and training for our employees.

As a not-for-profit organization without stockholders, SRC reinvests its earnings back into improving the quality of our company, our people and our programs. In the last five years, We have funded more than 3,882 credit hours in ongoing education at 100 percent support to employees. For customers, our not-for-profit status means that they receive a better quality product, because of the inherent quality of our staff and facilities and because we never attempt to cut corners to increase profitability. As a trusted advisor to many national agencies and organizations, SRC's reputation is unmatched and reflected by the quality of our services.

In alignment with our corporate Vision to focus on problems of national significance through the innovative application of science, technology and information, SRC has established the Advanced Technology Initiative Program. The primary goal of the ATIP is to sponsor Advanced Technology Initiatives that target some of the most critical and challenging problems facing our customers. In addition to the research and development of new technologies, ATIs also include business development activities that establish a customer base for new technology areas. ATIs function as a technology “incubators,” providing opportunities to reach beyond SRC’s current business areas.
