SRC Names Richard DaPrato to Federal Market Account Director

Dayton, Ohio, March 15 – SRC, formerly Syracuse Research Corporation, has named Richard “Rick” DaPrato (photo) as federal market account director. In this position, DaPrato will be responsible for new and existing business opportunities with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

Prior to joining SRC, DaPrato served as principal, business development at The Greentree Group, where he was responsible for leading a team to capture the company’s first three federal contracts in three separate agency markets. He has more than 30 years of experience in government contracting, and served with the U.S. Marine Corps and Naval Reserves.

DaPrato holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in management from Troy University. He belongs to several professional associations, including the National Defense Industrial Association; the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association; Association of Old Crows; and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. DaPrato supports his community through involvement with the Rotary of Oakwood, which offers student scholarships, and assists with chemical waste clean-up, police and fire staff support, and much more. He is also heavily involved with the International Rotary Foundation, an organization that encourages the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace.
